Nick Duncan

Founder & Chairman of Advisory Board

Nick Duncan is one of the co-founders of The Invisible Orthodontist (TIO). Nick holds bachelor’s degrees in both Commerce and Finance from the University of Adelaide, which included a year studying at the University of Massachusetts.

After finishing his studies, Nick spent five years working as a CPA in Boston, Massachusetts.

Nick is an e-commerce expert with a deep understanding of conversion focused web strategies for orthodontists. He has significant experience in orthodontic website development, search engine marketing, social media marketing, split testing and analytics.

Nick is the global Chairman of Advisory Board for TIO and is responsible for driving the strategy and direction of the network.

Dr. Grant Duncan

Founder

Dr Duncan has been in specialty practice for 30 years and is the co-founder of TIO. Dr Duncan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide and his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.

Dr Duncan was one of the first Invisalign providers in Australia to be honoured with Diamond Provider status in January 2015. He is part of the national Invisalign accreditation team, lectures nationally and internationally on the Invisalign system, and teaches Invisalign to graduate orthodontic students within the University of Adelaide School of Dentistry.

Dr Duncan has an interest in education, being a certified trainer for Invisalign Australia, a clinical tutor in the University of Adelaide graduate program in orthodontics, past co-director of the Adelaide Seattle Study Group, founding president of the Australasian Orthodontic Study Group and a member of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy of Dentistry.

Jane Dowse

Executive Consultant

Jane (known as TJ) has worked in the dental profession for more than 40 years and accumulated a broad understanding of both corporate and practice-based business during this time.

Following many years managing a group of multi-disciplinary practices, building and training dental teams, and developing small business strategies, Jane joined The Invisible Orthodontist (TIO) in October 2015. Prior to her appointment as TIO’s Global Director of Sales, Jane worked for Align Technology (Invisalign) in sales management, coaching and program development roles. While at Align, TJ led the UK TIO launch with TIO founder Nick Duncan. Jane has recently retired from TIO, but will continue to be part of the family as she now sits on the advisory board

Catherine Howarth

Executive Consultant

Catherine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons). She is a qualified chartered accountant and an admitted solicitor to the South Australian Supreme Court. Before joining TIO, Catherine worked in Sydney, Australia for eight years specializing in corporate restructuring and turnaround advisory. Five of these years were spent with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the world’s leading consulting and advisory firms.

In 2012, Catherine and her husband Jonathan relocated to the UK to take up the challenge of developing TIO’s UK business, later doing the same for the company’s US division. She currently lives in Adelaide, Australia with Jonathan and their 2 sons. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys outdoor activities in sunny Australia and traveling.

Sunil Purba

Chief Executive Officer

Sunil is the CEO of TIO Global and, working together with the Advisory Board, drives the strategic direction of our company. He has an extensive background in accounting and finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Prior to joining the team at TIO, Sunil worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Consultant, where he was responsible for the establishment of the Western Sydney Restructuring practice. He brings with him a wealth of experience helping businesses across many industries (though particularly family businesses) with initiatives in finance and operation improvement.

In his spare time, you might find Sunil running - or running after his 2 primary school children. He enjoys playing football (soccer for the non-Europeans!) with his local team and likes to spend time swimming down at the local pool.

Tim Donoghue

Chief Operating Officer

As the COO, Tim is responsible for driving the implementation of our company strategy and leading the operational teams to deliver the best customer experience and results to our members.

Prior to joining the team at TIO, Tim worked as the Managing Director of an international marketing agency, where he was responsible for leading the agency through the next phase of their growth curve. He brings with him a wealth of experience in organisational leadership, restructuring, consulting, marketing and key relationship management.

Relocating to the UK from Australia in 2011, Tim is an avid traveller and always seeking out new opportunities to immerse himself into new cultures. He will no doubt be in a city near you soon.

Casey Bull

Global Director of Content and Community

Casey has an MBA from Pepperdine University and completed her undergraduate program with a major in Business Project Management. She drives TIO’s commitment to provide member practices with unmatched marketing and business management expertise.

Casey started in the orthodontic industry working for Dr. Alexander Waldman in Beverly Hills. While working for the practice, she developed a range of practice management processes encompassing tracking and reporting, management systems and templates, treatment plans, marketing programs, and more.

Casey lives in Los Angeles with her husband (Shaun), two kids (Benjamin and Olivia), and Beagle (Lacy). They enjoy spending their days at the beach and at Disneyland.

Callum Bamford

Head of Paid Search TIO Global

Callum is our Head of Paid Search at TIO and is responsible for leading our global Paid Search strategy across Google Ads. Callum’s core focus is around: activation, measurement, engagement, quality control and growth, as well as exploring new opportunities available within Google Ads, in order to enhance our digital offering.

Callum has worked in Paid Media since 2009 and has worked in the orthodontic sector since 2017. He has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Web Systems Development and has previously owned several blogs ranging from men’s lifestyle to travel.

In his spare time, Callum enjoys the great outdoors and goes walking on a regular basis. He also enjoys cycling, playing golf, watching F1 and supporting Liverpool FC.

Ben McCormick

Paid Search Manager TIO Global

Ben is our Paid Search Manager at TIO, focusing on delivering a high level of performance across Paid Search. Supporting Callum, our Head of Paid Search, Ben helps deliver our Paid Search offering, ensuring our high standards are met, whilst exploring account growth opportunities and collaborating with all areas of TIO.

Ben has worked across a diverse range of sectors, agency side, in his first digital marketing role. He was introduced to the orthodontics sector within digital marketing in 2017 prior to making the move to an in-house role at TIO in 2020. Before working in the digital marketing world, Ben worked as a chef in a fine-dining restaurant.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys playing football on a regular basis, playing golf, discovering new restaurants and experimenting with recipes with his array of cookery equipment.

Hearty Dave

Social Manager TIO Global

Hearty joined The Invisible Orthodontist (TIO) as Facebook Ads Manager, where she focuses on launching, optimising, managing and reporting on social ads for our members in various regions.

Hearty has over five years of experience helping local businesses generate leads and sales online through paid advertising. Prior to joining TIO, she managed Jaycar’s wholesale division where she was responsible for the daily operations and ensuring the business-maintained profitability. In her earlier career, she worked as Analyst for both KPMG and Royal Dutch Shell, discovering her love for analysis and problem solving.

When she’s not working, Hearty enjoys meditation, travel, hiking mountains and spending time with her partner James.

Lora Nash-Legrys

Global Digital Director

Lora is TIO's Global Digital Director, overseeing the global strategy for clients and keeping abreast of latest trends and industry insights.

Lora has over 13 years’ experience within the digital space, namely within strategic digital marketing, both client and agency-side. Her passion is in creating, shaping and executing digital experiences across different channels to guide the customer journey.

In her spare time, Lora enjoys snowboarding and taking her rescue dog out for long (and almost always) muddy walks alongside her husband and young daughter. She is also a collector of jewellery and enjoys traveling the world.

Syed Shahzaib Ali

Lead Developer TIO Global

Syed began his IT career as a junior web developer for a national news company. Since then, he has carved a career out of software engineering and web development for multinational software houses, where he has specialized in XML and JavaScript development.

Syed joined TIO in mid-2011 as Lead Developer. He oversees a team of developers and his dedication, work enthusiasm and passion for TIO is the driving force behind all TIO web development. He is primarily responsible for managing all development work, website speeds, new web-based technology research and other technical work.

Away from work, Syed enjoys traveling, food, movies, and technology.

Izzi Boye

Digital Producer TIO Global

Izzi has more than five years of experience in the digital space, working as a website content manager and graphic designer. Extremely tech savvy, Izzi loves all things digital so is in an ideal role as digital producer for TIO. Prior to joining the team in 2017, Izzi worked as a Software Consultant.

Izzi helps the TIO digital team to deliver quality orthodontic websites for clients in all markets. Outside of work, Izzi enjoys soccer, video gaming and learning about the latest tech gadgets.

Yvette Burgess

Director UK & Ireland

As TIO Director of Consulting for the UK & Ireland, Yvette is responsible for the management and implementation of TIO’s IMC Program. Working with TIO clients and practice consultants, this core program enables member practices to implement an annual calendar of marketing activities.

Sam Bragg

Paid Social Manager, UKI

As a Paid Social Manager, Sam is responsible for overseeing TIO members’ advertising on social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

In some form or another, Sam has been in the Digital Marketing world since 2011 and during that time, he has attained a proven track-record of delivering ROI-positive ad campaigns across multiple channels, in a variety of markets. He also brings experience in the healthcare sector, where his marketing efforts aided in the development of a brand-new COVID-19 vaccine in Australia.

Pandemic notwithstanding, Sam loves to travel and recently lived in 5 different countries over the span of 4 years. He hopes to return to this lifestyle again one day, when global travel is easier and safer.

Mary Preston

Director of Growth

As the Director of Growth at TIO, Mary is responsible for implementing the global marketing strategy for the business across the 6 countries they operate in & focusing on the growth within the UKI & EU region.

Prior to moving into the orthodontic industry Mary has over 13 years’ experience in both B2B & B2C marketing in the property, fashion & the e-commerce industry. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in multi-channel marketing, management and key relationship management.

Kelly Miller

Programme Consultant UK & Ireland

Kelly’s work experience has always been within veterinary practice management & dentistry industry. Stating her career in dentistry as a receptionist for 3 years, she went on to work as a dental nurse for 8 years and ended up in Practice management.

Having worked across 3 of the major roles within dentistry, this has given Kelly a fantastic oversight of what really happens within the practice & the many different situations that may arise.

Her wealth of knowledge and hands on practice management experience, enable Kelly to prove our TIO members with in-depth team training to assist with streamlining a bespoke patient journey that will help grow your practice and achieve desired goals.

In her spare time Kelly loves to go on long woodland or beach walks with her family then come home and cook a nice meal. She has recently found a hidden love for melting crayon canvas art, and one day soon she vows to return to my passion of horse riding/competing.

Jenny Stubbs

Digital Strategist

Jenny ventured into the dental sector in 2012 when she joined a practice in the West Midlands as a trainee dental nurse. After completing her qualification, she became Practice Manager, a position she held for four years.

Jenny then moved to the veterinary sector as a Practice Support Manager, where she was responsible for tailoring healthcare plans and delivering team training for over 100 practices across the UK. In 2018, she returned to the dental industry as a member of The Invisible Orthodontist UK.

As a TIO Practice Consultant, Jenny is responsible for delivering marketing plans to our members and ensuring they are well supported in their ambitions to grow their business through increased orthodontic case starts.

As well as looking after a number of practices in the UK, Jenny is Practice Consultant for our expansion into Ireland, and is thoroughly enjoying working with such a diverse network of clinicians and team members.

In her spare time, Jenny enjoys walking and pampering her dog, a beautiful Westie called Toby. She can also be found at the gym and relaxing while watching movies.

Kunjal Kanabar

Digital Strategist UK & Ireland

Kunjal Kanabar is TIO's Digital Strategist for the UK & Ireland, managing the day-to-day flow of projects, overseeing websites, landing pages and paid marketing campaigns, as well as handling the strategic marketing plans of clients.

Kunjal has over 15 years’ experience in digital marketing working on both the agency and client side. His areas of expertise include sales funnels, paid advertising, social media, email marketing and conversion rate optimisation.

Outside of work, Kunjal enjoys travel, technology and spending time with his wife and two children.

Sandra Harrison

Director Australia & New Zealand

Sandra is the director of TIO for Australia-New Zealand. She has been in the orthodontic industry since 2010 and has extensive experience and a thorough understanding of all facets of orthodontics.

Sandra initially worked with an orthodontist in Michigan, USA, across all areas of the practice from dental assisting to laboratory technician, patient care to reception. She found her true calling in orthodontics when she became a treatment coordinator.

When a move back home to Australia beckoned, Sandra continued her work in the orthodontic industry. Of particular note was her time with Dr Spiro Pazios and Dr Steve Papas at Embrace Orthodontists in Canberra. As practice manager at Embrace Orthodontists, Sandra had the opportunity to work with the entire team and managed to grow the practice to become a Black Diamond Invisalign Provider.

Prior to orthodontics, Sandra worked in a variety of industries, including building, real estate, and hospitality, with roles ranging from sales, accounts, and customer service, all while raising her family. Sandra is motivated by seeing her clients succeed and thoroughly enjoys building relationships with TIO members. She remains forever grateful for the opportunity to make a positive contribution to an industry that changes lives.

Michelle Park

Programme Consultant Australia & New Zealand

Michelle has over 17 years of experience in the dental industry in both the UK and Australia in all aspects of support roles – dental assisting, treatment coordinator, receptionist, practice manager, and business development manager. Michelle utilises the knowledge and experience gained through these roles to provide support to her members and staff as Practice Consultant for ANZ. Her passion and ultimate goal is to help practices execute the most exceptional patient journey.

Before her big move to Australia, Michelle changed careers and took on the role of Club Manager for a local Curves fitness centre. In this time, Michelle went through vigorous customer service training that she has been able to adapt into the Dental Practice environment. She has also planned, developed and implemented many strategies to increase new patient numbers, improve practice efficiencies and so much more. Michelle is eager to work with members and to build strong relationships with the ANZ members and their teams.

In her spare time, Michelle loves spending time with her family and exploring what Australia has to offer – most of all the wine!

Zafar Hyder

Digital Strategist Australia & New Zealand

Zafar started his journey in digital marketing in 2019 with a vision of developing into a growth hacker. He has come from a dental marketing background and has worked with numerous different industries and verticals through his last role in AIA. With the experience gained and wanting to niche down to one vertical Zafar has joined TIO as a digital strategist bringing his years of dental marketing and lead generation experience.

Zafar likes to keep fit as a part of his daily routine and loves to hit the gym and go for walks. In his spare time, you will find him enjoying a good meal with good company, cooking, following the cricket, travelling/exploring new places.

Aida Shokrgozar

Digital Strategist Australia & New Zealand

Aida holds a master’s degree in information technology from RMIT University in Melbourne. She started her career in the website development industry at Butterfly Internet in Melbourne. Upon moving to Adelaide with her husband, Aida started working at The Invisible Orthodontist (TIO) as a front-end developer/programmer.

Aida is TIO’s Digital Strategist for our Australia and New Zealand members. During her time with TIO, Aida has been involved with lots of exciting digital marketing projects such as the analysis of website performance, conversion rate optimisations, local SEO, and paid advertising.

Isabella Bibolini

Digital Strategist North America

Isabella comes from a research and investigation background. Her introduction into the digital world was forming a part of a Social Listening team, studying and observing human behavior and its parallelism with return. After venturing in content production and website development, she found her true interest in strategy and data analysis, carrying forward her research beginnings till present day.

Isabella is TIO’s Digital Strategist for North America, overseeing paid strategy campaigns and member’s websites, ensuring a spherical and forthcoming process between all parts. One of her main objectives is to ensure quality communication with her members, no question is too much and no doubt should be left unanswered.

In her free time Isabella loves to surf, wakeboard and rock climb. She also has a really large dog named Braun.

Kerrin Waters

Senior Consultant

Kerrin has worked within the Orthodontic arena for over 12 years, her experience has included medical device, aligner manufacturers companies and orthodontic companies. Previously an event manager she is used to working on a number of project at once and understands that customer experience is crucial in every action that we take.

Having Orthodontics as an adult gave Kerrin the passion to share this life changing experience with others. As a TIO practice consultant Kerrin works alongside yourself and your team as an extension to the team to help you achieve your private practice goals.

In her spare time Kerrin enjoys, walking, mindfulness and sitting in the garden with a coffee and a good book.

Cathyrn Cook

Member Services & Marketing Assistant

Cathryn started her career in marketing 13 years ago, spending majority of that time in the childcare industry, as well as the tourism and dental fields.

As the Member Services and Marketing Assistant, Cathryn works closely with the consulting team to support members in all facets of their practices, particularly around the customer experience and journey. She is motivated by seeing members succeed in their goals no matter how big or small, and thoroughly enjoys building relationships with members and their wider teams. In her spare time, Cathryn enjoys listening to podcasts, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
